Gauntletle

Explanation of Gauntletle

Gauntletle is an innovative word game that takes inspiration from the popular word game Wordle. It presents players with a series of word puzzles to solve, incorporating a unique twist. Gauntletle is also known as "5 Wordle words" because it focuses on a sequence of word lengths.

In Gauntletle, players are tasked with deciphering a set of word puzzles that consist of words ranging from three to seven letters in length. The objective is to correctly guess the hidden words within a limited number of attempts. Similar to Wordle, players receive feedback on their guesses to guide them towards the correct solution.

How to play Gauntletle

In the Gauntletle challenge, players are faced with the task of filling in the gaps by correctly guessing a series of words. The challenge involves progressing from a three-letter word to a seven-letter word, with each word building upon the previous one.

To begin, players are provided with a three-letter word. This serves as the starting point for the first puzzle. As the challenge continues, players receive a seeded starting guess for each subsequent word, incorporating the previous word as a clue.

On the final word of the challenge, players are given a starting guess that is seeded with the previous four words. This adds an additional layer of complexity and requires players to utilize the knowledge gained from previous puzzles to make educated guesses.

Additionally, an optional adversarial mode may be available for the final board. This mode introduces a competitive element, where players can play against each other to see who can correctly guess the word first.

If players find the challenge too difficult or wish to give up, they have the option to hit the red X. However, a confirmation prompt will appear to ensure that the decision is intentional.
