Horror Nun is a first-person survival escape horror game where your main goal is to find a way out of a creepy school before the terrifying Sister Madeline completes her evil plan. Trapped inside Eagle’s Junior High School, you must explore dark corridors, solve puzzles, and uncover escape routes while constantly avoiding the nun’s watchful eyes.
You won't find a clear avenue leading to your freedom within the game. The available options for escape are plentiful, and every attempt at completing the game presents different ways of approaching it that require careful thought and monitoring of your actions, as well as selecting an approach that best fits your own personal survival instincts. Horror Nun places you in a tense, atmospheric environment filled with locked rooms, hidden passages, and dangerous encounters. Sister Madeline roams the school, reacting to noise and movement, making every step a potential risk.
Your objective is simple but unforgiving: escape the school without being caught. Exploration, stealth, and puzzle-solving are the only tools you have to survive.
How to Play Horror Nun
Explore Rooms and Find Clues
Search classrooms, hallways, and hidden areas for keys, tools, and clues. Many doors are locked, and progress depends on carefully examining your surroundings and remembering important locations.
Use Stealth to Survive
Discretion is Key. Moving stealthily (not running unless it's super necessary), crouching if needed, and keeping noise to a minimum, are critically important because Sister Madeline can easily see or hear you if you're creating noise. If she happens to discover you, it will be an instant fail. Use closets and other areas of concealment to prevent being caught.
Puzzle Solving & Path Unlocking
This section contains puzzles that will require you to look closely and apply logic to them. It will also involve combining items in an appropriate manner in order to unlock doors and access hidden pathways to help you reach your ultimate exit goal.
Manage Your Inventory
You can only carry one item at a time. Plan your routes carefully, drop items in safe locations, and return for them later when needed. Smart inventory management can make the difference between escape and capture.
Choose Your Escape Route
There are multiple ways out of the school, including doors, vehicles, and elevated exits. Completing specific objectives unlocks different routes, so choose the escape plan that best fits your strategy.
